Well, Fred is one of the great exclusive jewelers in the world, founded in Paris, France by a Mr. Fred Schwartz. Rather than calling it Schwartz's, he decided to go with Fred. Good choice, I think. They have stores on Rodeo Drive, Ceasar's Palace, etc. They have always been considered the Tiffany's of France, and of course they're frightfullly expensive and never discount.
