This necklace is investment priced. When I say investment priced, I, the Chairman, am very bullish on natural pink sapphires, and I always have been. Years ago, on top of an elephant, I travelled to the mine fields in Africa. When I realized how arduous it was to mine this stone and how costly it was, and then measuring in the beauty of the stone in relation to other gems, I knew that the pink sapphire was going to become a big winner. This hypothesis has been borne out this year at recent fine gem auctions such as Sotheby's and Christie's Galleries.
